The Beats fronted by the charismatic Lara bring great energy and presence to any event, putting on an outstanding live performance! Possessing a huge repertoire, that ranges from classics from the 60's and 70's to modern day hits, The Beats can fashion a set list for any kind of event or audience.

The band members are fortunate and talented enough to have supported and played with a number of major artists such as Razorlight, Madness, The Kooks, Pete Doherty and The Babyshambles. They've also had the pleasure of performing at famous hotels such as the Savoy and Claridges, at fashionable north London music venues including Proud Camden, the Islington Academy and at the O2. They've performed at designer product launches at Harrods and at the launch party for the computer game "Guitar Hero, Metallica". Corporate clients include many household names, for example Marks & Spencers, the National Portrit Gallery and the BBC. It's clear to see from the bands playing experience that they are a highly regarded group of performers.

The Beats are young, cool and entertaining. They are constantly rehearsing and adding new material to keep their sound and set list as fresh as possible. Though The Beats like to have fun on stage and they never take themselves too seriously, you can also be sure that they won't be your typical wedding/function band with too much of the "cheese" factor, they just know how to throw a great party!

Offering a complete package for all manner of events, The Beats can add a trumpet player and saxophonist for a funky six-piece line-up, and they also offer an acoustic duo or trio option for wedding champagne receptions or dinners. Interval music is provided between sets free of charge (included in price).

10/10 Great performance from the band!

5 stars - The Beats are Highly Recommended
booked The Beats for their Wedding in Somerset

“The Beats didn't disappoint at our wedding, they have a great variety of songs to choose from, which means there is something in there for everyone. They did two 1 hour sets of great hits, and I think the dance floor was filled for most of the evening, everybody loved it. Lara's vocals and the each of the band members were on point. Would highly recommend.”

booked The Beats for their Wedding in West Sussex

“Lara and the rest of the band were absolutely brilliant! I witnessed people that “don’t dance” giving it hell for leather on the dance floor. They were prompt in their arrival, very professional throughout and really knew how to respond to the crowd. I would happily recommend them to anyone else. Thank you personally for helping make our day that extra bit special.”
